Leominster Morris

The always popular Leominster Morris return to Shobdon demonstrating the distinct tradition synonymous with our part of the country. Known as ‘Welsh Border Morris’, winter is when it’s traditionally performed, but luckily for us, Leominster Morris dance all year round. The tradition has firm links with farming in Herefordshire, with Twelfth Night (January 6th) when the blessing of the apple orchards takes place. Our cider producers will be hoping they were successful this year. They will be performing on Sunday afternoon. See our Show Programme for details.
