Over the Festival weekend, Tiger Helicopters is offering introductory flights in both the R22 and the Jetranger to members of the public. It’s a great way to find out whether learning to fly is for you while enjoying the thrilling experience of a flight over stunning Herefordshire countryside. There’s also the opportunity to go on and obtain your helicopter license at one of the most professional and friendly flight schools in the country. Tiger Helicopters is owned and run by Alan Ramsden who has spent all of his working life at Shobdon Airfield. He started flying there in 1977 and set up Tiger Helicopters in 1992, so you’re in great hands
They are offering flights for £50 for 15 minutes in the R22 with the opportunity to have a go flying it (two seater) and £50 per seat in the Jetranger based on four sharing a fifteen minute family experience.
